happy mom-2-4 day! i wonder what maddie had to say to her caretakers when you weren't there today.

how nice to have a roomie. i think you'll both enjoy the company.

we had an ex-pat conversation about how we can do ONE errand in a day. when i told them one time i did THREE they were amazed. it's nice to have people who understand. ;>

Sooo happy you are almost at the finish line. While in Ukraine in December I met Sandra while at the Orphanage with Bogdon in Kiev. Please tell her I said, "Hi! and congratulations". She was waiting for her eleventh hour and it came for her, Yeah!!

I am going to see if I can actually do this blogging thing. Since receiving your Christmas letter, I have been following your journey very closely. What an amazing journey. Our family is so very excited for you! Maddie is so precious. Thanks for giving us a glimpse into her life in Odessa. It does look like she has been well taken care of there. Now, she will have an amazing family to begin the next chapter in her life. Can't wait to hear about "Gotcha Day!"

Ah, the hysterical laughter... it's either a sign that you're losing it or the only way to keep from losing it :)
We quickly learned that there is no such thing as just dropping it off, at least not in the way we use the phrase in America. 'Just dropping it off' was at least an hour, on a good day.

You're almost there - Maddie will soon be with her mama!!!

Big congrats to you!! Bummer about missing the visit. I wonder if she was dissappointed too? :( Soon, she will truly be yours, though and everything will change!Be sure and take pictures of Maddie's birth town. We missed that opportunity when our coordinator decided not to take us along since it was an hour drive. We got to spend the day with our daughter instead, but still, I'd like to have seen her birth town/place. I may never get that chance again.
